The International Convention Centre (ICC) Birmingham is located on the site originally occupied by Bingley Hall, the world’s first purpose built exhibition hall. The building was officially opened by H.M. Queen Elizabeth II in June 1991 and has since hosted many important meetings including the G8 summit in 1998 and the Conservative Party’s annual conference in 2008 and 2010.
As a state of the art building, the ICC has won several design awards, which include the Institution of Civil Engineers Project Award in 1992.
The ICC is only 10 minutes travel from Birmingham International Airport and is minutes away from the heart of Birmingham, offering easy access to all of the city’s top hotels and attractions.
